Anniversary Update: Wadsworth’s Sketch Books

Three years ago today we launched the Minton Archive website with a selection of newly-digitised records and images; a year later we celebrated our first “anniversary” with a 1000 image update and the year after that we unveiled our browsable volumes. This year, spurred on by our involvement with The Democratic Dish: Mintons Secessionist Ware at Chelsea Space, we’re making seven John Wadsworth sketch books available online…

Vases, and Tazze, and Figures! Oh My!

Over the last few weeks we’ve been busy building new online volumes from some of our previous digitisation work and today we’re releasing them into the wild. After the successful anniversary launch of an online version of Minton’s Pattern Book No.1 a few weeks ago we’re back with more. You can now view Pattern Book No.s 2, 3 and 4 in their entirety right here on the blog and we’re continuing our work to integrate these viewers into the catalogue pages too. Anniversary Update: Browse Volumes!

On the 25th September 2015 we officially launched The Minton Archive website and, one year later, celebrated the site’s first anniversary with a special update which pushed the number of images in the online catalogue past 1000. Our second anniversary update takes these catalogue enhancements a step further – starting today we’ll be making a number of special volumes available online in their entirety. (We’re really rather excited about this…)

27/9/2017 Update: We’ve tweaked the viewer for mobile and tablet users, and added a “full screen” button which better utilises your screen real estate for bigger, better pattern book viewing. Thanks for all the feedback so far!
