Spring has Sprung!

Here in the Northern Hemisphere the vernal equinox has just marked the beginning of spring and – touch wood – outside our office window the weather is even playing along (for now!). As luck would have it we recently happened across a set of four artworks depicting each of the seasons, so of course we had to share the illustration for spring…

But before we get to the artwork, a quick but important note about COVID-19 and the current health emergency. There are, of course, much bigger things to be concerned about than the future frequency of updates for this little website but we wanted to let you know that we’ll try our very best to keep the blog as active as possible. Continuing to post up beautiful artworks – Folio Friday stops for no virus! – and interesting snippets of Minton company history will hopefully prove to be a welcome distraction for us all, helping fend off boredom and perhaps even relieve some stress as we practice social distancing and, in some cases, self-isolation. Our Contact Us form remains open for enquiries but bear with us as we may take longer than usual to respond; Stoke-on-Trent City Archives, which holds the Minton Archive, is closed to the public until further notice.
