Autumn is in full swing here in the UK and the trees are exploding with colour, brightening up even the dullest of days. It’s a palette of Light Golden Browns, Euston Yellows, and Celadon 20 parts white… wouldn’t you agree?
If those particular shades sound a little unusual it’s because they describe the specific colours used to create the crimsons, browns and greys of “Autumn”, a colour scheme for one of the artworks in SD 1705/MS1729. The earthy browns and fiery reds can also be substituted for a second colour scheme of vibrant yellows and greens, turning a design perfect for this time of year into one more suited to brighter days and new growth: “Spring”.
As well as celebrating this seasonal flourish of colour we thought we’d also take the opportunity to perform an important public service by reminding our UK readers that British Summer Time ends tomorrow – yes, it’s that time of year when you can enjoy an extra hour in bed, totally guilt-free!
